Olivia Denise is a London based ceramicist. She first picked up clay in an evening hand building class, to unwind after a long day at her corporate job. After years spent painting and printmaking, she wanted to create something functional people could use in their day-to-day lives.

Being a painter first, once she moved into ceramics, it only made sense to hand build and hand paint every piece herself. Her work draws on the variety of textures found in the natural landscape; wood, stone, concrete, plaster, and other raw building materials, translated into soft neutral colours and organic forms. The collection is inspired by the quiet beauty of nature and the small rituals of everyday life: a slow morning coffee, hosting friends around the table, a moment that's just for you before the day gets going.
